Our capabilities include:
Florida Detroit Diesel-Allison serves an increasingly demanding on-highway business market that is cost-driven and time-sensitive. Equipment downtime is more than lost productivity – it hits the bottom line like a rock. Many companies understand the real value of regularly scheduled periodic maintenance and clearly see the benefits associated with it.
Benefits include:
Periodic maintenance is not an option. It’s a requirement based on every manufacturer’s warranty guidelines. Protect your investment and utilize only factory-accredited and trained professionals on your regularly required maintenance services.
In addition to the visual chassis inspection, our technicians check the coolant system and pressure-test the charge-air cooler system, recording the results. Tire pressure will be checked and adjusted if necessary.
During this phase, our factory-trained technicians visually inspect each of the following engine-related items:
Florida Detroit Diesel-Allison inspects all items listed in the engine compartment. We have identified the components that are most commonly serviced and that should be monitored regularly.
While performing the engine and chassis service, our factory-trained-and-certified technicians utilize only approved and genuine OEM products and supplies. In the event you would like to have any of your fluids – fuel, coolant, or lube oil – analytically tested, we will be happy to secure samples and send them to the factory-approved testing laboratory. Results are typically available in five business days unless overnight sampling is desired.
*Sampling is an additional charge.
Although this is our standard periodic maintenance service, we would be happy to discuss any unique requirements and customize your inspection as you feel necessary. In the event we identify anything that requires further attention, we will contact you to discuss. During the inspection we will not perform any additional repairs without first securing your authorization.
In addition to standard periodic maintenance, Florida Detroit Diesel-Allison offers proactive maintenance programs. Available as an annual contract, an FDDA proactive maintenance program is custom-tailored to fit your needs. The process begins with a visit from a dedicated FDDA team member who will review your needs and work collaboratively with you to create the program you desire.
Today, parts can be costly to replace on engines, equipment, and control systems. We’re here to offer an after-sales solution to reduce your out-of-pocket expense with an extended warranty. FDDA’s extended warranties are backed directly by the manufacturer and not a third party. To learn more about the options we can to offer, please contact us at [email protected].
Engine International Air Pollution Prevention Certificates, or EIAPP Certificates as they are primarily referred to in the industry, is the internationally accepted documentation that a specific engine meets the international NOX emission limits for diesel engines set out in Regulation 13 of Annex VI. An EIAPP Certificate for any engine installed on a U.S.-flagged vessel must be issued by EPA or other Emissions Certifier. FDDA is able to provide the necessary documentation for these certificates.
